Graduated at the Philosophical Faculty at the Department of Psychology. Fulfilled her specialization in medical psychology at the Medical Faculty of Novi Sad, University of Novi Sad. Associated professor at the Department of Medical Psychology, Medical Faculty of Novi Sad, University of Novi Sad.

Educated in the field of family therapy at the Institute for Mental Health, Medical Faculty Belgrade, University of Belgrade. She graduated at the REBT center, Belgrade and holds an Internationally recognized Diploma in the field of cognitive, behavioral and emotional therapy.

Employed as a clinical psychologist at the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Clinical center of Voivodina, Novi Sad. She has twenty years of experience in the field of psychological diagnostics and psychotherapy. She holds a national and European certificate for psychotherapy. She has a lot of experience in child and adolescent psychotherapy as well as in family dysfunction treatment and child neglection. Furthermore, Mrs. Šobot is an experienced forensic psychologist and is a full member of the forensic psychiatric team.

She wrote and co-wrote a variety of scientific papers in the field of medical psychology.
