He graduated at the Medical Faculty of Novi Sad, University of Novi Sad Serbia. He completed his specialization in neuropsychiatry and subspecialization in forensic psychiatry at the Medical Faculty of Novi Sad, University of Novi Sad Serbia. Dr. Knežević is employed at the Clinic for Psychiatry, Clinical center of Novi Sad and Associated professor at the Department of Psychiatry at Medical faculty of Novi Sad, University of Novi Sad.

Currently, he is the Head of the Clinic of Psychiatry and Mental Health at the Clinical Center of Vojvodina, Novi Sad.
He is the author in many peers reviewed scientific papers in national and international Journals in the field of psychiatry.
He have a large experience in diagnostics and treatment of psychotic mental disorders.
