He graduated at the Medical Faculty of Novi Sad, University of Novi Sad Serbia. He completed his specialization in neuropsychiatry and is currently finishing his subspecialization in forensic psychiatry at the Medical Faculty of Novi Sad, University of Novi Sad Serbia.Dr. Šakić is employed at the Clinic for Psychiatry, Clinical center of Novi Sad and Assistant professor at the Department of Psychiatry at the Medical Faculty of Novi Sad, University of Novi Sad.

He has ten years of experience in the treatment of affective and psychotic mental disorders as well as dementia.
